Sales & Business Development Intern/Placement Year - LB Networks

About the role:
As a Sales Intern, you will be a part of our sales and business development effort and proactively source and contact potential new clients, working directly under the guidance of our founders. You will be given responsibility early and be directly involved with senior executives, and also clients, on a daily basis. The role involves intelligent research, drawing maps of industries across all sectors and geographies, understanding different types of clients and how to approach them to present our service and describe the value addition of partnering with us.
You will have exposure to senior decision-makers in the financial & professional services industries and proactively reach out to both large and boutique firms operating in Private Equity, Venture Capital and Strategy Consulting.
This is a fast-paced, communication-intense and client-facing role with a clear focus on results and revenue generation. You will develop skills in negotiation, sales, professional communication which will pave their way to successful careers in commercial and operational leadership.
Who we are looking for:
On track to or achieved a 2.1 or equivalent level at undergraduate level at University, applications from all backgrounds are welcome.
Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, and excellent phone manners with a willingness and ability to contact and understand clients' pain points and articulate a solution.
Self-driven with a high level of autonomy and entrepreneurial mindset.
The ability to work closely with a team.
Previous experience in a customer-facing, sales or business development role would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Fluency in any other European language, especially German, Spanish or Dutch, would be a plus, but is not essential.
